ABOUT
Anna Fredrikke Bjerke is a writer and director from Norway living in London. She holds a Master of Arts from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from Central Saint Martins in London.
At the foundation of her filmmaking practice are the visceral emotionality of identity and resilience, stylised visuals with an evocative quality, and womanhood through the prism of honesty and warmth.
Anna's goal is to create a dialogue around the complexities of sexuality and challenge the idea of the ‘likeable’ female protagonist.
A multifaceted director, Anna has her hands in many projects, working across narrative, music videos, and commercials. She is currently in development with
a dark comedy series and writing her first narrative feature, which blurs the lines between reality, memory, and the surreal.
