Yonaka - Panic

Samuel Douek directs a rip-roaring promo for alt-rock Brighton based band Yonaka.

The evocative frenetic music video sees iconic vocalist Theresa Jarvis dragged through a series of chaotic scenes - including being strapped to the front of a moving truck - before finally breaking free, and taking control of her own destiny.

"I was so excited to work with Yonaka and direct my first punk music video," says Douek. "We shot this in the middle of freezing cold winter - and did three live stunts in the dead of night.

"It was an amazing feat from the whole team, and I'm forever in awe with the band’s willingness to get stuck in."

Punchy, energetic and full of attitude, it's another brilliant video from Douek and the CAMP team.

On the single, lead singer Theresa Jarvis said: “PANIC is a song about having a panic attack and how the body gets taken over by this other entity. I’ve got the angel and the devil on my shoulders constantly arguing about which road I should go down and how mental health carries a weight so heavy that it’s hard to feel affected by outside dangers. But I want you to feel the lightness of the track and I want it to make you laugh because I’m literally having an argument with myself.”
